About us

Welcome to Wessex Salmon and Trout Association. We encourage you to join WildFish, who support protection of wildfish and their waters. We have access to some great chalk stream fishing close to Wimborne in Dorset. We also get together and fish local waters, especially chasing Sea Bass and Mullet, & generally share a love of fly fishing

The Fishing

We have access to some prime chalk stream flyfishing on the river Allen just outside Wimborne in Dorset. We welcome anyone, enthusiast or beginner, and will help you get started.

Day tickets are available from £30, with season tickets exceptional value. If you choose to take a season ticket (subject to availability), we’ll deduct what you paid for one day ticket taken.

Day And Season Tickets

We offer day and season tickets. We encourage you to join WildFish.org first, link below. To enquire about ticket availability contact David on 07845 563576.

If you are interested in a season ticket, we recommend booking a day ticket first as a “try day”; we’ll then deduct this from the cost of a season ticket if you want to proceed. A committee member will also show you around the beat, time and schedule permitting!
